Seoul, Jul 29 (EFE/EPA).- South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics announced Thursday it posted a second-quarter net profit of 9.63 trillion won (about $ 8.3 billion), up 73.2 percent year-on-year, thanks to its branch semiconductors sales.The company also achieved a gross operating profit of 12.9 trillion won for April-June, 65.76 percent more than in the same period of 2020.
