On New Year’s Eve, 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' hair guru Jonathan Van Ness revealed he's recently tied the knot with his 'best friend.' HuffPost reports People and other outlets have identified Mark Peacock as Van Ness's new spouse. Van Ness's Instagram post didn't name Peacock--a filmmaker and London native--specifically. Still, it drew enthusiastic responses from a number of famous pals, including other 'Queer Eye' stars like Karamo Brown and Tan France. Van Ness is genderqueer and nonbinary. He was previously in a relationship with Wilco Froneman. The pair split in December 2018.

According to CNN, celebrities have adapted to the pandemic in a variety of ways, from recording albums in their living rooms to baking sourdough bread. But according to CNN, Clooney, apparently, was lightyears ahead of his starry pals for months of lockdowns and Zoom meetings. He revealed he's been cutting his own hair for the past 25 years with a 1980s-era contraption that attaches to a vacuum cleaner, called a Flowbee. In a recent interview, Clooney explained his hair was 'like straw' and so was easy to cut. He then imitated the noise the machine makes as it hoovers up his million-dollar locks.

In the Chinese Huangluo Yao, female members of the Yao people are very particular about their hair. Yao tradition dictates that women can only receive one hair cut in their lifetime, usually at the age of 18, to symbolise the woman’s coming of age. What's more Yao ladies who are not yet married are not allowed to show their hair to men, so they must wear a scarf to cover it. In fact, the tradition states that the first man to see a Yao woman's hair must be her husband.
