Tbilisi, Aug 1 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Zurab Kurtsikidze) Members of the Georgian army and the US military participated this weekend in the multinational military exercise dubbed 'Agile Spirit 2021' at the Vaziani military base, in the outskirts of Tbilisi, Georgia.FOOTAGE OF THE EXERCISES.
While hosting military exercises with Russia, Serbia says "we are a neutral state" despite rising tension in Europe over Russia's involvement in Ukraine. Nathan Frandino reports.
UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, evokes the spirit of Winston Churchill as he welcomes Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, in the room from which Britain's World War Two leader made some of his most famous speeches. "In the same way today, your leadership, your country's bravery and fortitude are an inspiration to us all" says Sunak. Zelensky responds with thanks and says he looks forward to discussing more urgent military support, with the UK pledging additional supply of "hundreds" of both air-defence missiles and long-range attack drones to fend off Russia's invasion.
