Torrejón de Ardoz, Aug 19 (EFE). The A400 aircraft of the Spanish Armed Forces with the first group of Spaniards and Afghan citizens who have collaborated with the Spanish broadcast in the country, as well as their families, landed at the military air base of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) early hours Thursday with 53 people. It was the first of the three planes sent by the Ministry of Defense for the repatriation of Spaniards and Afghans who helped Spain during the years that it maintained its military and cooperation mission in the Asian country. Colombian superstar Shakira arrives at court as she goes on trial in Barcelona in a tax fraud case, with Spanish prosecutors seeking a jail term of over eight years for the Grammy-winning singer. They accuse the 46-year-old of defrauding the Spanish state of 14.5 million euros ($15.7 million) on income earned between 2012 and 2014, charges denied by the singer who says she only moved to Spain full time in 2015.
