Firefighters backed by soldiers continue to battle a wildfire in western Spain that has forced hundreds of people to evacuate from nearby villages, officials said. Hundreds of firefighters continue to battle Spain's first major forest fire of the year, as authorities say that they're beginning to make headway in limiting the blaze. "The overall development is positive," firefighters in the province of Castellon, where the fire broke out on Thursday afternoon, said on Twitter. The fire has already burnt 3,800 hectares of vegetation and led to the evacuation of 1,500 people in the Valencia area. More than 500 men are still fighting the flames. IMAGES
