Massive pro-democracy protests rocked the finance hub in 2019, bringing hundreds of thousands of people to the streets to call for greater freedoms and more autonomy from mainland China.
Hong Kong's leader John Lee calls on eight overseas activists to turn themselves in a day after police put out bounties on them for violating the city's national security law. "The only way to end their destiny of being an abscondee, who will be pursued for life, is to surrender," Lee says.
