"Let my people vote for Carmen Meléndez," was how the lyrics of the song played during the celebration went, while the official candidate for Mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and her supporters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) celebrated the pre-electoral event, claiming to promote the recognization of minority ethnic groups.
