Ramallah, Jul 3 (EFE).- Hundreds of Palestinians returned to the streets of the West Bank city of Ramallah Sunday to protest against "the assassination" of a dissident in protests and called for the resignation of the president, Mahmoud AbbasThe protests were forced to stop earlier due to the repression of the security forces.The UN and the EU representation in the territories had warned the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) that it should allow "freedom of expression", after police and Abbas loyalists attacked protesters, especially women.
