Philippines allows importation of 60,000 metric tons of fish

Marikina City, Sep 3 (EFE/EPA).- The Philippines' Department of Agriculture has approved the importation of 60,000 metric tons of fish in order to augment the fish supply and ensure fish products will remain affordable for the public amid the COVID-19 pandemic, when the local fishing season will be closed in parts of the country by the last quarter of the year 2021.
