Le musée de Basse-Navarre est situé à Saint-Palais, au croisement des chemins de Compostelle de Tours (GR 655) et de Vézelay (GR 654). La visite propose différents thèmes qui relatent l’histoire de la Basse-Navarre et de Saint-Palais : la période préhistorique, la présence romaine, les villes neuves de Basse-Navarre, la chancellerie de Navarre, l’hôtel de la monnaie de Saint-Palais, la pelote basque, Saint-Palais au XIXème siècle, les chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, l’artisanat, l’art lapidaire et l’agriculture en Basse-Navarre.
