At least 10 people have been killed after a car bomb went off outside the Somali president's residence in an attack claimed by militant group al Shabaab.
A car bomb killed eight people and wounded more than 15 others in Kabul Sunday, officials said, the latest attack to rock the Afghan capital. IMAGES
Images show the aftermath of a car-bomb blast in a busy market in Mogadishu. Seven civilians were killed and five were wounded in the attack in the Somalian capital. The explosion occurred after security forces stopped a suspicious vehicle at the market in the south of the city.
At least 20 people are killed after two suicide car bombers attack the local government headquarters in Somalia's Galkayo town in the semi-autonomous Puntland region. Militant al Shabaab group has claimed responsibility. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
