This is the terrifying moment when amateur video taken by smartphone captured a part of a jet engine ripping off during a commercial flight operated by Tez Jet out of Manas International Airport from Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek just one hour after takeoff with 96 people on board. The shocking footage, taken by a passenger, shows the moment that one of the four engines on the British Aerospace RJ-85 was knocked loose after blowout.

More than 120 of the best circus artists from all over the world performed at the gala show of the 41st International Monte-Carlo Circus Festival at the Chapiteau of Monaco on Tuesday. Circus performers gather in the small kingdom of Monaco, located between France and Italy on the Mediterranean Sea, every year to show off their skills and learn new tricks to wow their fans. The festival draws thousands of spectators willing to see the unique performances from some of the world’s best clowns, jugglers, and animal trainers every year. Monaco’s Royal Family, who are well-known for their love and support of circus arts, also made the traditional trip to see the jaw-dropping performances. The festival concludes on January 29.
Drone footage captured the smoldering wreckage of a Boeing 747 cargo jet in the devastated village of Dacha-Suu in Kyrgyzstan on Monday, after the plane crashed into the settlement just outside the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek earlier in the day, killing at least 37 people. The plane was reportedly carrying just four crew members, but crashed into the village of Dacha-Suu, just 15 miles from the capital, and killed dozens of civilians on the ground. All of the crew reportedly died in the crash. Some 32 residential buildings in the village were destroyed. The Turkish MyCargo Airlines flight, operating the flight route TK6491, was flying from Hong Kong to Istanbul with a stopover in the Kyrgyz capital. All flights to and from Kyrgyzstan's Manas International Airport have been suspended.
