Nangarhar, Jun 1 (EFE/EPA).- The Afghan government and the Taliban are set to soon resume peace negotiations in Qatar, which have remained stuck for over five months, to try and end nearly two decades of war in Afghanistan. As per the deal, Washington agreed to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan by April 2021 - with the deadline subsequently postponed to September - in return for the insurgents committing to drastically reducing violence and participating in negotiations to end the Afghan war.
