The BMW 5 Series Touring, the epitome of driving pleasure, sporty elegance and modern functionality in the premium upper mid-range segment, is entering a new era. The new BMW 5 Series Touring is a sophisticated all-rounder for everyday driving and touring, offering stylish presence, superior sportiness, versatility and spacious comfort.Dynamically stretched proportions and generously designed surfaces characterise the exterior of the new BMW 5 Series Touring. The distinctive front end features a modern interpretation of the hallmark twin headlights and BMW grille. Two almost vertical LED elements serve as direction indicators and daytime running lights respectively. At the heart of the progressive, driver-oriented cockpit design is the BMW Curved Display. Its 12.3-inch Information Display and the Control Display with a screen diagonal of 14.9 inches form a fully digital display network. The modern premium ambience in the interior is further enhanced by the new sports seats fitted as standard, the steering wheel, which is now flatter at the bottom, and the optional BMW Interaction Bar.

Consistent electrification, advanced BMW iDrive display and control system with “QuickSelect“, new digital services, and increased sustainability throughout the entire product life cycle characterise the progress made in the fields of the future which are centrally important in the current transformation of the BMW Group.The market launch of the new BMW 5 Series Sedan will begin in October 2023. The new model generation will be offered worldwide with all-electric drive and, depending on the market region, also with plug-in hybrid systems as well as with highly efficient petrol and diesel engines including 48-volt mild hybrid technology. Like all previous model generations, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan is produced at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, where the electric motors and high-voltage batteries for the BMW i5 are also manufactured.
The BMW Individual special paint finishes Brilliant White metallic and Frozen Dark Grey metallic are new to the range of body colours. In addition, the BMW Individual body finishes Frozen Pure Grey metallic and Frozen Portimao Blue metallic are also available for the respective BMW M automobiles and in conjunction with the M Sport model. The BMW i4 M50 (power consumption combined: 22.5 – 18.0 kWh/100 km according to WLTP; CO2 emissions: 0 g/km) for which the M Carbon exterior package was exclusively reserved so far, will also be available for all other model variants of the BMW i4 and the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé from March 2022, also in conjunction with the M Sport model. It includes surrounds for the air curtains in the front apron, exterior mirror caps, a rear spoiler and diffuser insert trims made of the equally light and striking carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic.In the interior of the BMW i4 and the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé, customers can select particularly high-quality features with the extended BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery in the colour variants Black, Ivory White, Tartufo, Fjord Blue/Black and Fiona Red/Black. For an even more exclusive ambience, the BMW Individual full leather Merino interior, available in the same colours, also includes leather upholstery on the instrument panel. In addition, individual interior design preferences can also be fulfilled from March 2022 onwards thanks to special upholstery from the BMW Individual programme.
