Algeria partially reopens air borders after 14 months shielded by Covid-19

Algiers, Jun 2 (EFE).- Algeria partially reopened its air borders after almost fifteen months of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.The first of the only five weekly flights authorized as of Tuesday took off early in the morning from Algiers airport to Paris-Orly and returned hours later to the same terminal at the "Huari Bumedien" international airfield in the Algerian capital with 314 Algerian passengers, airport sources informed Efe.FOOTAGE OF THE AIRPORT ON JUNE 1.SOUNDBITES OF A PASSENGER.Translation:"Everyone was very welcoming and we are very happy (to return to the country), but we demand a reduction of prices, it's true it includes the hotel, which is logical, but it's too expensive, especially for big families and students."
