UNICEF warns that those affected by the Beirut explosion still require basic aid

Beirut, Aug 3 (EFE / EPA).- (Camera: Nabil Mounzer) The vast majority of families affected by the explosion a year ago in Beirut still require humanitarian aid twelve months later and about half of them still need to repair their homes damaged by the shock wave, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned on Tuesday.FOOTAGE OF THE EVENT AND PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE DIRECTOR OF UNICEF FOR THE MIDDLE EAST, TED CHAIBAN, IN THE LEBANESE CAPITAL ON THE OCCASION OF THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE TRAGEDY.
