Colombia leaves behind deadliest phase of pandemic, accelerates vaccination

Bogota, Aug 3 (EFE) .- With the lowest numbers of deaths and infections in four months, Colombia begins to leave behind the third peak of the covid-19 pandemic while immunization advances and encompasses already 25% of the country's population.However, concern about the delta variant and the rejection of vaccines from some of the population still persists.
