Cuba receives humanitarian aid from Nicaragua amid worst COVID-19 outbreak

Havana, Aug 6 (EFE).- A shipment of humanitarian aid sent by the Government of Nicaragua arrived in Cuba Friday to help the Caribbean country from a serious shortage of food, medicine and other basic products amid the worst outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Nicaraguan merchant ship Augusto César Sandino brought a load of 30 containers of food to the container terminal of the Special Development Zone, in the western port of Mariel, 45 kilometers west of Havana.
