Bangkok, Jun 22 (EFE/EPA).- 22 pro-democracy activists, including five prominent leaders Parit Chiwarak, Panusaya Sithijirawattanakul, Jatupat Boonpattararaksa, Anon Nampa and Panupong Jadnok, went on trial on charges of insulting the monarchy under the section 112 of the Thai criminal code, and for their roles in anti-government protests in September 2020.
