Mecca, Jul 18 (EFE/EPA).- Hajj pilgrims streamed out of the holy city of Mecca on Sunday, amid strict rules to curb the spread of coronavirus.The 2021 Hajj pilgrimage is allowed for a maximum of 60,000 residents and nationals of Saudi Arabia who are under 65 year old without a chronic disease and who can show proof of vaccination. Hajj 2021 is the second year that its access is being limited due to the global outbreak of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Pilgrims arrive at Mount Arafat on the third day of Hajj, for the climax of the pilgrimage. The ritual is the high point of the annual pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam, that officials say could be the biggest on record after three years of Covid restrictions. IMAGES
