US urges Cuba to end internet restrictions after protests

The United States urges Cuba to end internet restrictions imposed after unprecedented protests and renews a call for the release of detained demonstrators. "We call on Cuba's leaders to demonstratate restraint and to urge respect for the voice of the people by opening all means of communciation, both online and offline," State Department spokesperson Ned Price tells reporters.
