Berlin (Germany), Aug 13 (EFE/EPA), (Camera: Hayoung Jeon).- Germany on Thursday remembered the construction of the Berlin Wall, a giant logistical operation that began at 1 a.m. on Aug. 13, 1961 and was followed by 10,680 days of traumatic division. The Mayor of Berlin, Michael Mueller, and the Minister of State for Culture and Media of Germany, Monika Gruetters, were in charge of leading the 59th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall.
