New Taipei, Jun 8 (EFE/EPA).- An exhibition center in New Taipei has been turned into a COVID-19 mass vaccination site as Taiwan rushes to contain the worst outbreak it has seen since the pandemic began. Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen urged people not to travel for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival holiday, as the government extended the national COVID-19 alert level 3 to 28 June amid a spike in infections.
