Darth Vader is not gonna like this. Imperial Stormtroopers from London have discovered their creative side and decorated their iconic helmets with all sorts of cool designs. Eight British artists embellished eight stormtrooper helmets with fancy and intricate designs to coincide with the launch of the latest Star Wars film. Curator Ben Moore wanted his colleagues to “Turn the Dark Side into an Art Side” The artists showed off their decorated helmets in an exhibition at the Le Dame Gallery in London on Thursday. Designs included a pink helmet, leaf-patterns, stars, and even a helmet covered in comic book scenes. The exhibition, which will run for two days from December 10-11, includes work by the established artist Sir Anish Kapoor, Carne Griffiths, and other up-and-coming artists. It aims to raise funds for two charities - Missing People and the Missing Tom Fund - which was set up by Moore, whose brother Tom disappeared aged 31 in 2003. A new Star Wars story with the title Rogue One will hit theaters on December 16. Rogue One tells the story of how the rebel resistance managed to get their hands on the Death Star plans and stars Felicity Jones and Diego Luna in leading roles.
