Description

Guachochi, Sep 11 (EFE).- In the impoverished Sierra Tarahumara region of the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua, many children and young people were on the verge of dropping out of school during the pandemic due to lack of resources just like around 250,000 children in Mexico, according to recent report, making it easier for them to be attracted to drug trafficking. For a year and a half -from March 2020 until the end of August- Mexico kept schools closed and long-distance classes were offered -through television, radio and internet- to more than 33 million students of all levels.
