Smoke billows after a deadly strike on a residential building in northern Kyiv. At least two people died and 12 were wounded, the country's emergency service said Monday. "As of 07:40, the bodies of two people were found in a nine-storey apartment building, three people were hospitalised and nine people were treated on the spot," the emergency service said on Facebook, adding that the building was in Kyiv's Obolon district. A video published by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service show firefighters putting out a fire at a residential building in Lviv. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said "many missiles were shot down", but that "residential buildings got hit" in the strike. "Fortunately, there were no casualties. Unfortunately, there is a lot of damage," he said on Telegram. "More than 100 apartments were damaged, more than 500 windows were broken, and a kindergarten was destroyed" after a missile flew into its yard, he said.
