EU's von der Leyen welcomes Xi's willingness to speak with Zelensky

European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen says she welcomed Chinese leader Xi Jinping's stated willingness to hold talks with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. "It was interesting to hear that President Xi reiterated his willingness to speak when conditions and time are right. I think this is a positive element," she says during a press conference in Beijing following talks with the Chinese leader. SOUNDBITE
