"It was like a slow-motion movie," says one witness of an explosion at a cafe in Russia's second-largest city of Saint Petersburg that killed a prominent Russian military blogger and left 25 others injured. The Ria Novosti agency, quoting a source close to the inquiry, said "a girl" had supposedly dropped off a package with a "figurine" inside intended for the blogger.
Russia accuses Ukraine of masterminding the murder of a prominent war blogger. Vladlen Tatarsky whose real name was Maxim Fomin blown up by a figurine handed to him during a talk in a St Petersburg cafe. In a police video, a 26-year old Russian woman admitted to handing him the bomb but reportedly said it was a set up. FRANCE 24's Camille Knight tells us more.
Russia has named a suspect in Sunday's bombing at a cafe in Saint Petersburg. A prominent military blogger was killed in the blast, and 25 others injured.
