'Biden admin has a lot of work to do to get US corporate world to engage more in African continent'

Description

US Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday called for more investments in innovation in Africa in a speech underlining her optimism for the continent where she is on tour. Her visit to Ghana and later this week to Tanzania and Zambia follows a December summit hosted by President Joe Biden in Washington with African leaders to balance the rising influence of China and Russia on the continent. For more, FRANCE 24 is joined by Dr. Alex Vines, Assistant Professor and lectures on African peace and security and politics at Coventry University and Director of the Africa Programme at Chatham House. Dr. Vines asserts that the "Biden Administration has a lot of work to do to get the US corporate world to engage more in the African continent."
