The advanced system combines direct power delivery and an active driving experience with lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.Thanks to its multimodal hybrid drive, the Juke Hybrid combines efficiency, responsiveness and harmonious driving characteristics. Drivers and passengers will experience pure electric launch, smooth driveability in all conditions and excellent fuel economy. This combination is made possible thanks to the intelligent multimodal transmission, efficient brake energy regeneration and the high-performance battery.In developing the hybrid powertrain, the focus was on complementing and preserving the agile and dynamic character of the Juke that has made the coupe crossover a modern Nissan icon.

  • Nissan JUKE Hybrid Live Event Interior Design

    The electrification of the Nissan model range is progressing. The compact crossover Juke with a new hybrid drive can now be ordered at prices starting at 31,090 euros. The advanced electrified powertrain reduces emissions and fuel consumption while also impressing with driving pleasure and direct response.The internal combustion engine in the Juke was specially developed for use in a hybrid system. It delivers 69 kW (94 hp) and develops a maximum torque of 148 Nm. It is supported by an electric motor with 36 kW (49 hp) and a torque of 205 Nm. In addition, the system consists of a 15 kW starter generator, an inverter and a water-cooled 1.2 kWh battery. All in all, the powertrain offers 25 percent more power than the current petrol engine, while reducing fuel consumption by around 40 percent in city driving and up to 20 percent in mixed traffic (figures subject to homologation).The expected fuel consumption of the Juke Hybrid is 5.0 to 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 114 to 117 grams per kilometer (depending on equipment; consumption and emission values ​​are subject to homologation).

    The use of powertrain from the forthcoming JUKE Hybrid reflects both the additional performance it offers in the production version, as well as the improvements to its efficiency and emissions.The JUKE Hybrid powertrain consists of a new generation, state-of-the-art Nissan internal combustion engine specifically developed for working in a hybrid powertrain application. This unique powertrain means that power to the wheels comes only from an electric motor, which results in instant, linear response to the accelerator.To meet the typical demands of European consumers and their daily drive, the e-POWER installation has been significantly upgraded for the new X-Trail. The application in the Japanese Note featured a 1.2 petrol engine charging the battery unit, with a final power output of 106hp. For Europe it has been upgraded to a 1.5-litre Variable Compression Ratio turbo petrol engine, with a final system power output of 150kW (204PS).The unique element of e-POWER is that the petrol engine is used solely to generate electricity, whilst the wheels are completely driven by the electric motor.
