Nissan is equipping its compact coupé crossover Juke with a hybrid drive for the first time. Nissan hat mit der Produktion des Townstar EV begonnen. Die vollelektrische Variante des neuen Kompakttransporters basiert auf der CMF-C-Plattform der Allianz und wird im Kompetenzzentrum für Kleintransporter in Maubeuge, Frankreich, hergestellt.Mit dem Townstar EV macht Nissan einen weiteren wichtigen Schritt zur Verwirklichung der Nissan Ambition 2030 und dem Unternehmensziel, bis 2050 klimaneutral zu sein. Das Modell kommt diesen Herbst nach Europa und knüpft an den Erfolg des Nissan e-NV200 an. Nissan nutzt seine Erfahrung im Segment der elektrisch betriebenen leichten Nutzfahrzeuge (e-LCV) und hat hier seine Stärken in den Bereichen Leistungsfähigkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit weiter ausgebaut.Die vollelektrische Variante des Townstar verfügt über einen optimierten Antriebsstrang mit intelligentem Energiemanagement und Batteriekühlung. Dank seiner aerodynamischen Karosserieelemente und der damit verbundenen Effizienz kann der Townstar je nach Ausstattungslinie eine Reichweite von über 300 Kilometern (nach WLTP) erreichen. Der Elektromotor leistet 90 kW/122 PS und entwickelt 245 Nm Drehmoment. Die 45-kWh-Batterie kann mit Wechselstrom (11 kW oder 22 kW) oder über den CCS-Anschluss mit Gleichstrom geladen werden. Letzteres ermöglicht ein Aufladen von 15 auf 80 Prozent in nur 37 Minuten.Der Townstar zeichnet sich durch ein frisches und modernes Design im aktuellen Nissan Stil aus. Die maßgeschneiderte Frontschürze ist mit einem aufwändigen Kumiko-Muster versehen, das die japanische DNA des Modells widerspiegelt und dem Fahrzeug einen hochwertigen Charakter verleiht.Im Innenraum stehen Kundenzufriedenheit und Ergonomie an erster Stelle. Mehr als 20 Technologien, darunter ein digitales 10-Zoll-Instrumentendisplay sowie integrierte Konnektivitätsservices, machen den Townstar EV zum fortschrittlichsten Transporter im LCV-Portfolio der Marke.

In contrast to conventional hybrid vehicles, the electric motor, which responds immediately and linearly, always drives the wheels. The energy is supplied by a battery, which a small combustion engine charges while driving.
