Images show people arriving and grieving during the funeral held for the victims of Kyiv's helicopter crash. 14 were left dead after the January 18 incident, among which figures Ukraine's interior minister Denys Monastyrsky and officials from his ministry. IMAGES
"The reason why happened this crash, we don't know right now, we need investigations, but it's a big tragedy, and also three children died," says Kyiv mayor, Vitali Klitschko, in Davos, Switzerland about the helicopter crash in the town of Brovary, outside Kyiv, that killed at least 16 people, including Ukraine's interior minister Denys Monastyrsky. Images of authorities on the scene after thirteen people died and another seven were injured when a minibus collided with a lorry in northern Ukraine. The minibus was travelling from the city of Chernigiv to the village of Borzna in the Chernigiv region when it hit the lorry, according to Ukraine's state emergency service. IMAGES
Soldiers at the Pau-Uzein Air Force Base paid a final tribute to their seven brothers-in-arms from the 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment (RHC)killed last week. The soldiers died when two helicopters collided last Monday while pursuing jihadists in northern Mali where militant violence has soared in recent months. IMAGES
