Tourism agencies are celebrating as Inca citadel Machu Picchu reopens to tourist after a month of unrest.
Some 200 tourists stranded in the famous Machu Picchu region due to protests across Peru over the past ten days are evacuated.
In Peru, the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, reopened to visitors on Wednesday, 25 days after it closed amid the demonstrations that have shaken the country since December. The famous citadel which was built in the 15th century is Peru's most famous attraction, and tourism is a crucial sector in the country's economy.
