  • France strikes: 10th day of nationwide protests over pension reform plan

    France's controversial pension reform law may have already been forced through parliament, but public anger here over the move to push the retirement age from 62 to 64 is still palpable. Protest marches are planned across the country today, with police on high alert for more potential violence like the kind that broke out at the last rallies over the weekend. One of the most visible signs of the protests have been the mounds of garbage piling up in cities across France as trash collectors continue their strike. France 24's Clovis Casali reports from an incinerator is the town of Ivry, east of Paris.
