Il est capable de se balancer tout seul pour garder l’équilibre quand il porte des objets. Il peut refermer ses bras pour prendre moins de place, et rouler jusqu’à 10 mètres par seconde. Il est léger et peu encombrant. En fait il reprend le principe des gros robots Handle de Boston Dynamics, sauf que là tout est simplifié. Evobot prouve bien que les robots n’ont pas besoin d’être très gros pour être impressionnants.
