In 1984 Suzuki amazed enthusiasts from all over the world with its single-cylinder Enduro DR 600 S which immediately set the benchmark for performance and style, a model which subsequently increased in displacement and became legend with the Djebel version dedicated to adventure, through a clear reference to the Paris-Dakar and to the mountains (in Arabic the word Djebel identifies the mountain ranges typical of Tunisia and specifically the second highest peak of the same country) of the African deserts where the exciting rallies of the 80s and 90s were held.The legendary DR 650 R Djebel was equipped with an off-road setup and showed off a livery that has remained in history: the same attitude and the same graphics are now proposed in the new Suzuki V-STROM 800DE Djebel, presented by the Italian branch of the Hamamatsu company at Motor Bike Expo 2024 and now the protagonist of an emotional video (click here) which expresses its versatility and off-road aptitude beyond the heritage of a historical model.The V-STROM 800DE Djebel inherits the propensity for exploration and the ability to have fun on any terrain.Compared to the V-STROM 800DE version, the Djebel version is enriched with the Akrapovič exhaust terminal in titanium/carbon, while the tires are the Dunlop Trailmax Raid*, with an aggressive look and a more off-road destination than the Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour of the V -STROM 800DE, while the iconic graphics of the DR 650 R Djebel are made entirely in paint.The new V-STROM 800DE Djebel is available until 06/30/2024 and can only be ordered through the Suzuki Web Store, at the list price of 13,900 Euro.

With alloy wheels, 19-inch front wheel and specific chassis dimensions, this version offers a different balance between comfort, driving pleasure and practicality.With its characteristics, the V-STROM 800SE offers exemplary behavior both in long-range tourism, even with a passenger and fully loaded, and in daily journeys in urban areas. Six driven wheels, an eight-cylinder engine producing 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) peak torque, and all of it wrapped in a spectacular new pickup body: BRABUS expands its fascinating lineup of supercars with a new attraction – the new BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE.The basis for this all-terrain high-performance pickup is provided by the Mercedes-AMG G 63. Using state-of-the-art CAD software, the BRABUS engineers designed a very special new supercar with a longer frame, pickup body and a drive system acting on three portal axles. The BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE 6x6 is 623 centimeters (248 in) long and offers plenty of space for recreational gear on its pickup bed.The BRABUS supercar is powered by a BRABUS 800 four-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine producing 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) peak power and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) peak torque. It accelerates the six-wheel pickup from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a mere 5.8 seconds. Due to the all-terrain tires, the top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h (130 mph).The BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE attracts universal attention not only on account of its pickup design: The front sports an unmistakable off-road look with the massive ADVENTURE brush guard and the front bumper with integral winch. Exposed-carbon elements with high-gloss sealed surface finish add sporty touches to the bodywork, while the matte black bed roll bar behind the cab represents characteristic pickup design. To match the white paint finish and the black BRABUS WIDESTAR fender flares, the designers chose black as the color for the exquisite BRABUS MASTERPIECE interior. Red piping and topstitching on the upholstery in concert with red glazing on the cockpit elements add intriguing contrast. The carbon elements match the pickup’s outer skin and give it a sporty touch in the interior as well.The BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 ADVENTURE is built to order and in the variant presented here sells for 1,100,000 euros (export price in Germany excluding statutory VAT).

On the other hand, it marks the market entry of a new platform, also shared with the GSX-8S, a street fighter expected to be on the road in a short time.
