The voice control based ‘Hey Mercedes’ interior assistant can be used to ask MBUX to control all sorts of vehicle functions, from interior lighting colours, to directions to the nearest EV rapid charger.Performance on both vehicles is as you would expect from a premium electric SUV. For the EQS 450 4MATIC , that means a 0-62 time of just 6, while the EQS 580 4MATIC is even quicker at 4.6 . On road dynamics are improved with the addition of rear-wheel steering, 10 degrees as standard. This means improved agility when manoeuvring at slower speeds, with the rear wheels working alongside the front wheel steering angle at speed to bring stability and handling benefits.

Mercedes-Benz will pursue a differentiated strategic approach with its vans in the future. As presented last year (2023), the company is aiming for a premium strategy for its commercial vans. In the future, a focused luxury strategy will apply to all newly developed, privately positioned vans, as is the case for all Mercedes‑Benz passenger cars. The aim is to fully implement this strategic change with the introduction of the upcoming modular and scalable Van Electric Architecture – VAN.EA for short – from 2026. The new private midsize vans EQV and V-Class are an important milestone on this path. Both are further elevated with new exterior and interior designs. There is also an increase in comfort and safety, especially thanks to more intelligent, digital networking. The models have been available to order from Mercedes‑Benz sales partners and online since January 2024. The standard equipment has been comprehensively upgraded and thereby tailored more precisely to customer requirements. The new V-Class starts at a list price of 59,470.25 euros[1], the new EQV from 75,281.78 euros. The new V-Class also forms the basis for the V-Class Marco Polo camper van, which is offered ex factory. It starts at 80,004.89 euros1 and adopts the model's attractiveness almost completely.

In 2023, Mercedes-Benz will open a new chapter for the business saloon: the new E-Class points the way in the transition from the combustion engine to electric drive. The first saloon models of the 214 series will arrive at the European sales partners in autumn 2023.The new E-Class has the proportions of a classic three-box saloon: the short front overhang and long bonnet are followed by a greenhouse which is set well back. The ""cab-backward"" design is rounded off by the well-proportioned rear overhang.A black panel-like surface connects the radiator grille with the headlamps. This insert in high-gloss black is visually reminiscent of the Mercedes-EQ models. The three-dimensionally designed radiator grille is either progressive or classic, depending on the equipment line. The new E-Class has high-performance LED headlamps as standard. As an optional extra, DIGITAL LIGHT is available without and with a projection function. All headlamp variants offer a distinctive day and night design. As a typical feature of the brand, the daytime running lights take the shape of an eyebrow. Powerdomes accentuate the bonnet.
