The new Apple store is twice the size of the now-closed previous one located in the same area, inside the Taikoo Li shopping center in the wealthy neighborhood of Sanlitun. Huge crowds gathered as technology giant Apple opened their first store in South Korea on Saturday in the nation's capital Seoul. Once the doors opened at the new Apple Garosugil, located in the trendy neighbourhood of Gangnam, the customers were greeted with cheers by staff members. Temperatures outside reached -16 Celsius, or just over 3 Fahrenheit, but thousands of dedicated Apple fans still made their way outside for the grand opening of the first Apple store in South Korea.
Grammy Award Winning Artist John Legend helped open the NYC flagship HM store and then excited guests and the crowds outside when he took to the piano to perform. Listen in.
