The British and Polish prime ministers are in Kyiv for talks with Ukrainian President Zelensky, as Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with the Hungarian leader in Moscow and has held a phone call with the Italian prime minister. Boris Johnson has warned on a trip to Kyiv that Russian forces massed on the border represented a "clear and present danger" to Ukraine as another burst of top-level diplomacy tries to head off a major conflict in Europe. "I can confirm that the United States provided Ukraine with long-range ATACMs at the President's direction," US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel tells reporters. Biden "quietly directed his national security team to send ATACMs to Ukraine for use inside Ukrainian sovereign territory in February.
