Shenzhen/Beijing, Oct 9 (EFE/EPA).- Indebted Chinese real estate giant Evergrande announced Saturday it had "sanctioned" six senior executives who had rescued their investments in the company's wealth management products before the agreed deadline.In a brief statement published on its website, Evergrande said its six executives have already returned to investment accounts all the funds they withdrew. Shenzhen/Beijing, Oct 4 (EFE/EPA).- The indebted Chinese real estate giant Evergrande said Monday it had suspended trading of its securities listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, without offering further details on the matter.The group reported this suspension, which also affects "all structured products related to the company," in a statement issued through the Hong Kong stock market, which returned to activity Monday after a three-day hiatus.The company climbed 15 percent on the stock market Wednesday after announcing the sale of a large part of its shares in a bank to a state company and after the debt rating agency Fitch lowered the rating of the group's long-term debt due to the uncertainty about its offshore bonds. Beijing, Sep 16 (EFE/EPA).- The real estate subsidiary of Chinese group Evergrande announced Wednesday it would pay interest due on its Shenzhen-traded 5.8 percent bond from September 2025 on time.In a Shenzhen exchange filing, Hengda Real Estate Group Co. Ltd., Evergrande's subsidiary, said it would make a coupon payment on the bond Thursday.This would mean the timely payment of its obligations in China although it remains to be seen whether Evergrande will pay the interest for its offshore dollar bonds.
