Genesis completed GV70’s design that not only is dynamic but also meets practical needs of SUV consumers based on various design elements including the signature Crest Grille and the Quad Lamps, representing the Genesis wing emblem.The front of GV70 displays an aggressive image as the Crest Grille is set lower than the headlamps while its twin-lined Quad Lamps add a sense of speed and dynamism. Moreover, the skid plate placed underneath the bumpers has been extended to the flank, reinforcing the image of a sporty SUV.The hallmark of the GV70’s side profile is its emphasis on a dynamic expression created by a dramatic contrast of its rear fender with the arching Parabolic Line that begins at the top of Quad Lamps and runs across the body. The sleek and elegant coupe-like roofline, along with the dropping chrome line to the C-pillar, accentuates the sporty characteristics.

The story of the G80 begins with the brand’s emblem which inspires the crest grille and Quad Lamps, the distinctive face of every Genesis.“The All-new G80 is the centerpiece of our lineup perfectly weighing athletic and elegant characteristics. This represents the clearest interpretation yet of the Genesis brand identity,” said Sang Yup Lee, Senior Vice President, Head of Global Genesis Design. “Our goal is to offer unique, design-inspired experiences for our customers.”On the side, the Parabolic Line, which begins at the front Quad Lamp and gradually runs lower to the rear through the top of the door, is inspired by the elegant look of several venerable classic cars. This elegant line is counter-balanced by athletic “power lines” emphasizing the strength of fender volume and the upfitted 20-inch wheels. In addition, the chrome trim beginning from behind the front wheels stretches out along at the bottom of the door, crosses the side sills and swells upwards to the rear, strengthening forward visual motion.The rear view features a dramatic, tapered look – highlighted by a sloping decklid and rear Quad Lamps which visually link to those in front. Chrome decor at the top of the trunk stretches the full-width repeating the theme of the Genesis emblem, while the dual exhaust finishers reference the Crest Grill design.
The most athletic sports sedan offered by Genesis, the award winning G70 receives a performance and styling update.Up front, the new G70 gains the brand’s signature Quad Lamps, featuring super thin LED lamps which stretch outward like the wings of the Genesis emblem. The low-slung Crest Grille evokes an aggressive stance that emphasizes the G70’s performance character.Viewed from the side, the new G70’s profile retains the familiar long hood and short front overhang, communicating its agility even when parked. Four all-new wheel designs further enhance its presence, and a new air extractor positioned aft of the front wheel designed to optimize airflow efficiency. The Parabolic Line adds an elegant touch over the muscular surfaces, just a like a tailored suit for a world class athlete.At the rear, Genesis’ signature Quad Lamp taillights and prominent Genesis text over the clean of the surface of the trunk lid shows an unmistakable Genesis identity.
