The Santa Claus school in Brazil closes another Christmas season with a traditional lunch where the jolly men receive awards and cut their beards in a symbolic gesture.

To bring joy, environmental awareness, and Christmas spirit to the children who visit the Marine Aquarium of Rio de Janeiro (AquaRio), Brazilian diver Felipe Luna dressed as Santa Claus swims, feeds the fish, and plays with the visitors.
Leonardo Pereira da Silva (aka Santa) flies in to deliver food parcels to residents at Rio de Janeiro's Penha favela. The Central Unica das Favelas (CUFA) NGO say they have distributed -- in partnership with the National Anti-racist Front (FNA) -- 300,000 food parcels in more than 200 favelas of the Brazilian city.
