Baghdad, Oct 8 (EFE) .- Parliamentary elections began Friday in Iraq, with a special voting day reserved for employees of the Ministries of the Interior and Defense and other security forces, as well as the internally displaced, while the rest of the citizens will vote next Sunday.Polling stations opened their at 7 am local time (04:00 GMT) and are expected to close at 6 pm (15:00 GMT) throughout the country, where security measures have been adopted to ensure that voting takes place without interference and without violence.
