Several parts of Thailand warned of heavy rainfalls, flash floods

Bangkok, Oct 11 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand's Meteorological Department warned Monday of more thundershowers and heavy rainfalls that may cause flash floods in several parts of the country as tropical depression storms Lionrock and Kompasu moved into Thailand from Oct. 11 to 18. At least nine people were killed in more than 32 provinces in different parts of the country, and more than 300,000 households have been affected by heavy floods, according to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department.
