    Colombo, Jun 9 (EFE/EPA).- Sri Lanka on Wednesday began vaccinating pregnant women over 30 of years of age against COVID-19 with the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.After some delay in the verification of the safety and suitability of the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine for pregnant women, Sri Lanka kicked off the campaign at the Castle Street Maternity Hospital and the community clinic of the Medical Officer of Health, Piliyandala.
