Baghdad, Oct 10 (EFE/EPA).- Iraqis headed to polling stations Sunday to elect the new 329 members of the Council of Representatives (CoR) as the Independent High Electoral Commission was expected to announce the results within two days. Over 8,200 polling stations across Iraq opened their doors at 7.00 a.m. local time to receive over 25 million Iraqis called to the polls, on a day in which Army fighter jets were flying through the skies of the country to guarantee security in the elections.
