Kathmandu, Jan 5 (EFE/EPA).- Air pollution reached hazardous level Tuesday in Kathmandu, topping the list of major cities with the highest air pollution levels in the world according to Air Visual, a platform that measures the Air Quality Index, or AQI, worldwide. Kathmandu valley registered record levels of air pollution with PM2.5 - particulate matter with diameter less than 2.5 microns - reaching 448 micrograms per cubic meter at noon, according to the data obtained at air quality monitor (AQM).
