France's last Resistance fighter laid to rest in the crypt of Mont Valerien

The coffin of France's last Resistance fighter, Hubert Germain, who died last month aged 101, enters the special crypt reserved for Resistance fighters at Mont Valerien. In accordance with Germain's wishes, President Emmanuel Macron laid a Cross of Lorraine, the symbol of the resistance, on his coffin. IMAGES
