Colombia, Guatemala agree to strengthen fight against transnational crime

Bogota, Oct 14 (EFE).- Strengthening the fight against transnational crime and fostering an alliance between coffee producing countries were the main focuses of the meeting Thursday between the presidents of Colombia, Iván Duque, and of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei.Both leaders expressed their commitment in a joint statement after the meeting at Casa de Nariño, the Colombia’s government headquarters, during an official visit of Giammattei to Colombia, during which they also pledged to increase trade and protect the environment.
