John Deere workers in Illinois go on strike for first time in 30 years

East Moline, Oct 14 (EFE/EPA).- More than 10,000 workers at John Deere walked off the job striking for the first time in more than 30 years Thursday after United Auto Workers union members rejected a five to six percent pay raise offer from the company.
